Sweet Tooth Satisfaction - O'Sulloc

O'Sulloc is a store that centers around Jeju island's amazing tea leaves. They bring out the best in fresh green tea and incorporate it in a wide range of goodies that are not just limited to tea. Everything for the house that is for general well being is infused into O'Sulloc's merchandise. This includes the best sellers in the Innisfree stores and a handful of other baked goodies that are sold all around Seoul.
In addition to the amazing products that O'Sulloc carries, they also have an amazing cafe that bakes up the most amazing sweets. Incorporating green tea and fresh ingredients in their goods, the best sellers are green tea. With the green tea being the best seller, the must haves are the Green Tea Tiramisu and the Green Tea  Frap that is topped with their best selling Green Tea ice cream. With so many locations around, be sure to visit the website for a list of shops to get your taste of Jeju Island.
The one recommended location is in Insadong where they offer three floors to the shop. The first floor consists of the shopping goods and a visible roasting pot of fresh green tea leaves, providing samples of the tea to guests. The second floor is their more modern touch of a cafe, catering to locals and tourists. The third floor is a more fancy and high class seating for a quieter environment to enjoy their goodies with a higher price as well. The third floor is definitely recommended if you are looking for a quieter place as well as a place for business purposes. The extra touch does go a long way.

Fresh on the Market - Innisfree Soybean Firming Neck Cream

One of the newest products in Korea to make it on the shelves of Innisfree is Jeju Island's Soybean Firming Neck Cream. What's so special about this product? Specialists say that they are able to determine the age of a woman based on the wrinkles on the neck. Regardless of how clear your face is, how young you look, without caring for the neck area, it is probably useless. The beauty of this product is to reduce and prevent the wrinkles in the neck area.

Soybean is known to help beauty in a variety of ways, especially in increasing elasticity and thickness of the skin. Therefore, when applied daily, it will help to prevent sagging of the skin and wrinkles will fade within a few months of time. This is no miracle worker, it takes time, but it is suggested for those who are in their 20s to start caring for their skin which is much easier than fixing a problematic look. It is extremely light on the skin which is gentle for those with sensitive skin.

The Innisfree Soybean Firming Neck Cream is extremely light in scent. Apply a small amount of this thick lotion to the neck after showering in an upward direction. Remember, upward helps to reduce the sagging look. Most importantly, do not forget the back of the neck! Since the product just launched this month, it will take a while to see results.

Beauty Review - Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Primer

Made of a natural minerals and mint from Jeju, this primer is extremely smooth and it glides on with no problems. Most primers that I have used are really creamy or feels to be of some gel texture. This no-sebum mineral primer is something that falls right in between. Although it is made of mint, there is no tingly burning feeling on my psoriasis cuts. It glides on perfectly and helps to even out the bumps sometimes to promote a smooth skin look.

Sweet Tooth Satisfaction - Yeot (엿) Candy

This traditional Korean eat, Yeot 엿 is made in a liquid and solid form, very much like the American taffy candy. Made from steamed rice, glutinous rice, corn, and other mixed grains, this mix is boiled and cooled into a solid form. There are a handful of different types which include rice, pumpkin, sesame, and peanuts which come in the sweet form.

Depending on the area whipping up this delicatessen, it is a sweet tooth satisfaction as well as a traditional Korean yum being made with meat and vegetables! Jeju Island specializes in this form where Dangnyeot 닭엿 is made with glutinous millet and chicken, and even Dwaejigogiyeot 돼지고기엿 which is made with pork. It is a definite must try on the list of Korean eats, whether sweet or salty.

As a fun fact for those foreigners who are learning to speak Korean, be careful when telling someone to eat Yeot. It can be used as a slang, one of the worse curses in the English dictionary!
