My Current Obsession - Face Shop Deep Care Gel

This gentle deep care gel is able to penetrate into the skin overnight, fighting acne and leaving you with clearer in the morning. I am happy that it only takes one night to see the difference on my face. More importantly, it is compatible with extremely sensitive skins. This clear gel can be used on dry patches such as eczema and psoriasis, helping to reduce the visible marks, providing a duo for the skin. It is less harsh than topical creams and is great for all skin types, even soft enough for babies. I am a big fan of this product and suggest it to all!

Being that the product is "good for babies" it is actually soft enough to put on the skin. Be sure to use it at night away from the sun because it can leave the skin red when under the sun. It is a product that I will buy again, especially for over the counter product that you do not need a prescription for. It works especially well with my sensitive skin and psoriasis which is a big surprise because it helps to reduce the marks on my face.

Beauty Pick Me Up - Face Shop Vitamin Power Essential C

Packaging is one thing that automatically catches my eyes and makes me interested in the product. This Vitamin Water resemblance toner comes in three different forms with the selection of Vitamin B, C, and E. Extremely easy to use, simply pat on clean skin to moisturize, soften and increase elasticity. Each is formulated with a concentration of different types of vitamins, depending on your skin type. For those who have troubled skin with random breakouts, go for Vitamin C. For those who have more oily skin, Vitamin E is your choice and Vitamin B for those who have dry skin. It is one product that works extremely well with my skin and I will purchase again. There is an amazing smell that I love to throw on my face everyday and I absolutely love the packaging. It is the perfect gift to give to others!

Beauty Pick Me Up - Milk Calcium Nail Pack

This easy to slip on nail mask helps to pack on the calcium to your nails to promote healthy looking nails. It is perfect for those who always have nail polish on, just like me. Over time, you nails need to breathe and having a nail mask helps to reduce the yellow and hydrates your cuticles. Prepped and coated with a milk liquid, each finger slot is packed with nutrients that help to rejuvenate healthy nails. I am a big fan of this quick and efficient nail mask which is easy to use. This 15-20 minute soak on will leave your nails soft and fresh. I suggest using it before getting a manicure on a set of nail polish free hands. My Current Obsession - Foot Peel and Foot Mask

Foot peeling is an extremely popular product in Korea. Every beauty store has their own take on the product with a different level of strength for peeling. The general concept is soaking your feet in two separate foot bags that you fill with the foot peeling solution for an hour and a half. Simply scrub off the solution and any dead skin that comes off. The magic behind the foot peeling is that you will shed dead skin for a few days, up to 10 days, depending on the strength of the product. It is the perfect solution to anyone with callus problems and just cannot find the right fix. I highly suggest it and I am in love with it, although it can be a bit nasty to watch your foot peel over the course of a few days. Tony Moly has the strongest foot peel with max effects that lasts up to 10 days.

Be sure to plan for that and be mentally prepared. I don't have such a thick callus problem so I did not peel as much as my family and friends have after using this product. There is also the option of a foot mask that you can use to keep your foot soft and smooth. The foot mask is optional, just a regular mask that helps to lock in moisture to your feet, but I definitely suggest using the foot peel because it is an awesome product. I am definitely planning to stock up before returning home!

Beauty Splurge - Korean Beauty Products

First off, HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEARS! For those of you who celebrate this special day, I wish you and your family the best of health and a prosperous new year. Because it is the week of the new year, I have been busy prepping and planning for the year. Best of all, there's been a lot of shopping included.

I haven't be sharing my beauty splurges in Korea which is a constant thing. Therefore, I decided to share this week's shopping splurge! For starters, I had to pick up a lemon scented bar soap from Lush along with their bar conditioner for the hair. I thought it would be great to finally experiment with the bar conditioner that I have been dying to try. 

For the more Korean brands, The Face Shop is one of my favorite stores back at home with my constant splurges. Finally visiting the Korean Face Shop, I picked off where I left in America with the blemish treatment. Four items to help my random break out here in Korea: the Blemish Zero Bubble Foam Cleanser, Anti Trouble Healing Spot, Anti Trouble Blemish Patch, and the Pomegranate face mask.

Next, I made a stop at Skin Food, an extremely popular organic store that uses a bunch of food goods to develop beauty products from head to toe, literally. Just to experiment, I picked up the Green Tea Boots Fresh Spray, Lychee Essence Mist and Cherry Tomato Wax.

Last stop for this weekend is Holika Holika where I picked up a few of their top sellers which includes the Honey Canola Overnight Mask, the White Wine Therapy Sleeping Pack, the Baby Silky Foot Treatment packs, and a face mask with one of the cutest boys ever. Talk about a great marketing tactic!

Beauty Review - Face Shop Masks

If Kim Hyun Joong is not a big enough incentive to go into the Face Shop, their one single packaged face masks definitely are. I have been using these face masks for at least six months now and I am excited to share it with you. I’ve seen these masks go on sale for $1 each, but the Face Shop line costs $2 a piece and they also carry other brands that cost up to $6. Every time I drop by, I pick up at least five different masks and have it stacked up for use and to share with friends.

Having twenty different masks to choose from within the Face Shop line, there are many different uses for the skin which include cleanse, clearing, whiten, and relaxation. These masks are best to use in the winter time because you really do feel your face smooth out after one use. For those with psoriasis, I recommend the pine nut which sounds weird, but works so great for smoothing the face as well as the pomegranate for detoxing and lavender for relaxation. Depending on the weather, you may want to jump and try different masks. I tend to use the aloe one every week because it’s summer and the sun is a killer for the face so aloe is great for soothing.

You can use these masks once or twice a week, depending on how my hydration and moisturizing you need. If you are just starting to use masks, I suggest using it once a week and working your way up to two times a week. You do not want to overdo it because it will leave you with an oily face.
