Product Review - Tony Moly Intense Care Snail Foam Cleanser

The Tony Moly Intense Care Snail Foam Cleanser is a product that I have been purchasing for family back in America, but I have yet to try it myself. I finally picked up a bottle for myself because of the constant rave I have gotten. For starters, I thought the foam cleanser would be extremely dry to the skin because of how it comes out of the bottle. To my surprise, it actually is not. It's a pretty amazing product that I have been using for over a month now and I do see the difference in my skin. This product is extremely gentle for those with sensitive skin and is one of the best sellers from Tony Moly. I now understand why. Over time, it has actually helped with my psoriasis, working with it rather than against it as many products do. My skin has gradually became smoother as well as a bit lighter for the acne scars on the skin.
As ironic as it is, although it is made from snail, it has a pretty good smell. It is definitely my go to in the morning and at night. In Korea, you can simply purchase this product for $15 and it is a definite stack up before I go back to the states. Not only is there a large quantity for its price, but it actually works well for all skin types. This will probably continue to be the go to product of gifts. The only thing is it doesn't stand up to its name as a "foam cleanser." Still, no complaints there!

My Current Obsession - Banila Co Prime Primer Mattifying Balm

One of the best sellers at Banila Co. is the Primer of Mattifying Balms. With a handful of different primers that the company is known for, the Banila Co Prime Primer is one of the most popular makeup primers in Korea and a well known one, winning an award every year. Developed from their famous bottled-liquid primer line, the balm version helps to maintain hydration in the skin and provide a more even pore base for foundation. I have to grown to love the product because it provides a great makeup base and does help to smooth out the face, much like the Tony Moly Egg Pore product, but this is in fact a great two in one! I just cant get enough of the product and so glad I have it with me on this trip!

My Current Obsession - Tony Moly Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub

There are a few products in Korea that I am absolutely in love with and the Tony Moly Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub is one of them. I have previously blogged about the purchase of this coffee scrub, but since then, the packaging of the product has changed. Although the packaging of the product has changed, it is still the same great product that I have used over the course of the months. Nonetheless, I am still in love with the product and want to share it with the world. In addition to the product being one of Tony Moly's best sellers, the product itself and the packaging is definitely an appealing factor to buy.
This heat-activating mask is the perfect product for those with dark marks on the face. A gentle gel scrub with beads that helps to rub away dead skin. It is perfect for the winter days that are soon approaching. I have yet to have a problem with the product on my skin and recommended it to a few friends that are just in love with the product as I am.

Product Review - Tony Moly Hug Me Hair Removal Cream

Equivalent to the American Nair product that is difficult to find in Korea, either that or it is extremely overpriced, like many other American products, the Tony Moly Hug Me Hair Removal Cream is one product that works as a hair removal cream. Used the same way the Nair product is used by washing the area with hair to be removed and pat dried, glide on the cream and leave on for 5-10 minutes and wash off. Scent just like the Nair product, but the only bonus is the blue scraper that helps to scrape off the remaining product and remove hair. Although this product is originally priced for $7, Tony Moly occasionally has sales where you can pick up this product for half the price. No better way to safe on money than picking up a product on sale!

My Current Obsession - Foot Peel and Foot Mask

Foot peeling is an extremely popular product in Korea. Every beauty store has their own take on the product with a different level of strength for peeling. The general concept is soaking your feet in two separate foot bags that you fill with the foot peeling solution for an hour and a half. Simply scrub off the solution and any dead skin that comes off. The magic behind the foot peeling is that you will shed dead skin for a few days, up to 10 days, depending on the strength of the product. It is the perfect solution to anyone with callus problems and just cannot find the right fix. I highly suggest it and I am in love with it, although it can be a bit nasty to watch your foot peel over the course of a few days. Tony Moly has the strongest foot peel with max effects that lasts up to 10 days.

Be sure to plan for that and be mentally prepared. I don't have such a thick callus problem so I did not peel as much as my family and friends have after using this product. There is also the option of a foot mask that you can use to keep your foot soft and smooth. The foot mask is optional, just a regular mask that helps to lock in moisture to your feet, but I definitely suggest using the foot peel because it is an awesome product. I am definitely planning to stock up before returning home!

Product Review - Tony Moly Intense Care Dual Effect Sleeping Pack

The Tony Moly Intense Care Dual Sleeping Pack is a gel-like mask that you pack onto your skin overnight. It is extremely gentle on the skin and works through the night to brighten the face, reduce wrinkles, and of course provide moisture to the skin. The product claims to also have "good sleep mechanism technology" which I do not understand, but I am a fan of this product because of its texture. Unlike other overnight masks, it is extremely light and a little goes a long way. There is no need to pack on a thick amount and it washes off smoothly. I hate going through the fuss of washing off a thick amount of overnight sleeping pack but I had no troubles with this product.

Beauty Pick Me Up - Tony Moly

Tony Moly is one of my favorite stores for their cute beauty packaging which I have mentioned in my previous blogs. I am a big fan of their products, especially their egg line and so I had to continue with my beauty splurges.

Just a small little splurge with a  few products that include their one dollar nail stickers that you can add to a clear coat of nails. In regards to cute packaging, I picked up two Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bars that slides on smoothly and is extremely adorable to have in your purse. I love the way it glides on and the color is extremely bold, unlike many other lip glosses I have had. Lastly, I picked up two Cutie-Beauty Perfume Bars because I couldn't decide between the scent that I wanted. These perfume bars are perfect to have in your purse for a night out. Simply dab on the areas that you would normally have your perfume and you are ready to go, especially after a BBQ dinner in Korea!

Product Review - Tony Moly Egg Line

For those of you who have been following along with the blog, you have read my brief review of the Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm. Since then, I have picked up a few more products in the Tony Moly egg line which includes the Blackhead Out Oil Gel and Egg Soap. The last product on the line that I did not pick up is the Egg Pore Tightening Pack because I am in love with my other tighteners.

I recommend the Silky Smooth Balm for those with psoriasis to use on their skin. The balm is extremely smooth and doesn't irritate the skin. Although it feels like another thick level of cream on your skin, you can smooth it out by using a thin layer. It does go a long way and helps to reduce the bumps on your face. Anyone suffering with psoriasis on the skin will understand the patchy makeup look. The Silk Smooth Balm definitely helps to reduce the bumpy texture.

The Blackhead Out Oil Gel is a gradual process that helps to remove blackheads. From experience, it helps to decrease the size of blackheads and helps to eliminate white heads, which usually isn't too hard to get rid of.

One of the most popular products in Korea is the egg soap which many stores care. For some reason, I am a bit bias with the product and will only buy the Tony  Moly egg soap. Packaged in a cute egg carton container, there are two eggs that have the greatest scent, nothing like egg. The two eggs differentiate between morning and night use. After each use, my face is immediately as soft as a baby's butt. There is a small layer of smoothness that allows me to glide through my skin and I absolutely love the feeling.

The moral of this blog is to introduce to you Tony Moly's egg line and my recommendation of it. I am a big fan of their product. For more information and if you are looking for where you can purchase these items, email me at cunggie@gmail.com with the subject line Tony Moly products.

Beauty Pick Me Up - Tony Moly

Tony Moly is a beauty store in Korea known for its creative packaging for beauty and makeup goods. Attracted to the display items, I purchased a few of the top sellers that helps to achieve maximize beauty. It is a guarantee that I will return to pick up a few more items from the store.

Of the two items, I picked up the top seller of the Tony Moly's egg line. The Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm is to help clear our blackheads and impurities with their key egg and camellia ingredients. You can wear this product alone on the skin to help clean the skin or it can be used with your makeup. I suggest using after your moisturizer and primer to smooth out the surface of the skin for easy foundation application. It helps to conceal the holes on your face by providing a smooth base for makeup to be applied. A little goes a long way with this product. It is a whipped texture which does automatically conceal the holes in the face. It probably won't help those bigger marks on your face, but I am in love with the product. It helps to smooth out my face completely and makes my makeup look natural.

Next, there is the Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub which is a scrub that smells like your morning drink. Made of coffee and milk extracts, the self heating scrub is suggested to be used two to three times a week to help remove dry, flaky, dead skin cells, impurities and keratin in the face. I love the twist off design that holds the scrub inside the cup and a "spoon" that acts as a tool to scoop the scrub onto your hand. Simply rub onto the face in a circular motion and wash away with lukewarm water. I absolutely love this scrub, it is great to wake you up early in the morning and I do feel an immediate layer of smoothness.
