New Pumice Fission Technology is a new discovery I made from my local nail salon that helps to remove the layer of dry skin from the hands and feet. In addition to this, it helps to stimulate and revitalize the skin. It definitely didn't look or seem possible at first but by shaking the bottle and spraying for a hand and foot massage, the layer of skin will be gently removed. You will notice a dead layer of skin that is gently scrubbed away with use.

My Current Obsession - Skin Food Grapefruit Nail Polish Remover
I am totally obsessed with Skin Food's Grapefruit Nail Polish Remover for the simple fact that it does it's job and it smells great. I hate the awful smell of chemicals that linger in the garbage can after removing nail polish and Skin Food's amazing product literally smells like grapefruit. It's such a fruity aroma that makes me want to actually sniff the product all day, which I probably shouldn't. Unlike acetone, like any other nail polish, it simply takes time to remove and it doesn't dry out the nail at all. This is one cheap pick up that I definitely recommend, totally worth the measly $2! It is a constant repurchase for sure!Tuesday, August 28, 2012
Beauty Pick Me Up - Milk Calcium Nail Pack
This easy to slip on nail mask helps to pack on the calcium to your nails to promote healthy looking nails. It is perfect for those who always have nail polish on, just like me. Over time, you nails need to breathe and having a nail mask helps to reduce the yellow and hydrates your cuticles. Prepped and coated with a milk liquid, each finger slot is packed with nutrients that help to rejuvenate healthy nails. I am a big fan of this quick and efficient nail mask which is easy to use. This 15-20 minute soak on will leave your nails soft and fresh. I suggest using it before getting a manicure on a set of nail polish free hands. Be sure to pick up this convenient and cheap nail remedy next time you stop by Face Shop!

My Current Obsession - Innisfree Nail Pen Moisturizer
This extremely easy to use moisturizing pen has an angled tip that allows you to glide nutrients of natural lavender and sunflower seed oil to your nails. It includes a refill tip that you can replace when needed.
Because I constantly have some kind of color on my nails all year around, this product helps to revive my nails and lessen the yellow color. This cheap beauty pick up is something that I recommend to use when taking off your nail polish for a day or two to help treat your nails.

My Current Obsession - Scented Nail Polish
I don't know about you, but I always have a bad habit of sniffing my nails after I get a manicure. Problem with that is there's a bunch of harmful chemicals that I should not inhale. I have been looking into this for a while now and this is where my current obsession comes to play, scented nail polish. Tuff Scent, a line that developed nail polish with a perfume scent has totally captured my attention. For the first three days, your nails will smell like the corresponding scent of choice. A two in one for beauty and makeup addicts like me! I'm definitely excited to stock up on this product and they ship internationally!

Splurge of the Week - Missha
I picked up three Pure Source masks which consists of honey, pomegranate, and aloe. For just about a dollar each, it was worth a try to see how well it would work on my skin. That, and I have never seen a honey mask before and I know honey and oatmeal works wonders for the skin! I was not a big fan of the honey smell, but it was an amazing 20 minute touch.
Next, I picked up a top coat that I forgot to get bring from the states. On sale for just $4, the brush is thicker than those in the states. It allows for one quick sweep of color through the nail and tops my color with a shiny coat. It is a great soft finish for the Missha Lucid Nail Care.
Following, I picked up a Creamy Matte Lip Rouge in PK03, a pink that I have been dying to get for a while now. Today was finally the day! The matte color works extremely well with my lip, I just wish there was a bit more moisture to the lipstick.

Near Skin Bio White, is one of the popular lines of Missha. I decided to give it a try with the Healing Eye Treatment which is certified but he KFDA that uses white peptide bio technology to minimize fine lines. For those without wrinkles, it is good to prevent and protect earlier.
Lastly, I found an extremely moisturizing Excellent Milky Body Oil for a low price. American brand products can be hard to find in Korea for a low price, but I hope this will help my dry skin due to the difference in water.

My Current Obsession – Sephora by OPI Nail Design Pen
Since my last OPI
obsession, I’ve learned to love the brand for what they offer, including
the Nail
Colour Remover, and now there’s the Sephora by OPI Nail Design Pen. This pen
comes in a variety of colors, which includes white, gold, purple, blue, pink
and green. The brush helps to draw fine lines and it is great for making custom
designs, which include finishing off a French manicure. It is just like using a
pen, but allow you to create nail art. Give it a try the next time you drop by
your local Sephora.

Beauty Review – Sephora by OPI Nail Colour Remover
If you’re a nail polish person like me, always having to have a coat of color on your nails, then you’ll definitely love this product. OPI’s nail polish remover is less damaging on the nails like acetone, but works faster than drugstore nail polish removers. This nail polish remover contains grape seed oil, vitamin E and extracts of sea kelp and aloe vera that leaves cuticles soft.
My favorite about this nail polish remover is the smell. It doesn’t have a damaging smell like acetone and is extremely gentle on my skin. I'm not a big fan of the dry feeling that acetone leaves on my nail, although it does take the nail polish off quickly. The only bad thing is this four ounce bottle costs $9 which is extremely expensive compared to a $5 bottle of acetone that is triple the size or even a bottle of drugstore nail polish remover for $1. Regardless of price, I think it is worth it for all the good it does for the nail. The key is to treat and take care of your nails, especially if you're big on beauty. Pricing is worth what good it does for you.

My Current Obsession - OPI for Sephora Spark-tacular! Top Coat
I admit, I am an essie lover. I pretty much don’t wear any brand on my nails other than essie, many of you know that. I have this obsession with essie that I cant explain, that is until I discovered Spark-tacular! This nail polish is a two in one – a blast of sparkle as well as a top coat. You can wear it alone on your nails or what I like to do is paint on my favorite essie color (which is currently tarte deco) and throw Spark-tacular on my ring fingers. Such a blast of fun! You can shine on one coat for less glitter or pile on the glitter and have nails full of fun. I am ready to get the OPI for Sephora Only Gold For Me and Traffic Stopper Copper top coats.

Nail Art in 1-2-3
Lately, I've been on a trip about nail design, addicting to the cracked nail design by OPI. My recent discovery consists of nail polish and a magnet. With one thick coat of nail polish and a magnet that is placed of your nail, a design will appear within 10 seconds. How trippy is that? LCN offers a magnet nail polish that makes stirpe and star design on your nails. For only $10 a bottle of nail polish and $20 for the magnet, nail design has never been so easy. The best thing about it is being able to share with friends.

Food Goods - Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Being so caught up in the beauty industry and its product now a days, we tend to forget the simple household items that we have laying around will do us the same as would a product we spend double, triple, even ten times more on. Extra Virgin Olive Oil, EVOO, serves many beauty purposes that we are oblivious to. I've written in my previous blog, the use of EVOO as a makeup remover. It's great being it's all natural and of cheap.
For those with rough skin, rub some EVOO on your feet or hands, put on a pair of socks and or gloves and wake up with soft skin. Rub some on your elbows and knees to moisturize. EVOO also works on the lips to heal and prevent chapped lips.
Split ends? No problem, massage EVOO in your hair, cover with a shower cap for 30 mins, shampoo and rinse. I saw my roommate carry a bottle of EVOO into the bathroom and I thought she was crazy until I found out how well it worked!
For those who wear nail polish daily as I do and have stained nails and fingers, add a few drops of lemon juice to EVOO and soak. If you have thin, brittle nails and ragged cuticles, EVOO will definitely strengthen them for you.
Ran out of shaving cream? Use the smooth EVOO, perfect for sensitive skin.

Last uses of EVOO is perfect for the summer time. Lathering on some oil will protect the skin from UV rays while it simultaneously prevents the skin from drying. If you got a bad sunburn, be sure to mix EVOO with white vinegar and apply before a warm bath to heal the skin.
