Beauty Review - Skin Food Black Sesame Hot Mask
I am in love with Skin Food's all natural products that are great for the face. My recent discovery is the Black Sesame Hot Mask which is more like a rinse off rather than a mask. This hot mask only requires 4-5 minutes a day and the best part is the heating application that penetrates the skin. This is one of the hottest and most efficient hot masks I have used in Korea.
The mask helps to open up the pores with a sesame and sugar mixture which helps to eliminate dead skin by scrubbing. It leaves your skin silky, soft, and smooth which is left behind from the black sesame seeds and gel texture that glides right through. Although the weather is getting warmer, it is still a great use to open up pores before popping a pimple or even doing your eyebrows.

My Current Obsession - Skin Food Black Sugar Mask Wash Off
The Skin Food Black Sugar Mask Wash Off is a hit seller at Skin Food. Many travel from all over the world just to pick up this face scrub and stack up on a bunch as well. Made from black sugar, the sugar particles melt away on your face as your scrub in circular motions. This wash off is made from great food ingredients that help to bring minerals and vitamins to the face, leaving smoothness and glow to the skin. I think it is one of the best scrubs that I have used by far. It is definitely one of the products to stock up and bring back home.
It is suggested to be used three times a week, but using it every other day will work as well. Especially with the warm season coming, the humid atmosphere will leave your face sticky. For those who are going out for a tan, this black sugar wash off will be perfect to wipe away the dead skin and leave you with the smooth underlying layer.

My Current Obsession - Innisfree Almond Sugar Scrub
I am absolutely in love with this all natural sugar scrub from Innisfree. Innisfree is one of my favorite beauty stores in Korea for their all natural products that is great for the skin. The Almond Sugar Scrub is perfect for those with sensitive skin like me. It is one of the most gentlest scrubs that I have used thus far. Made with sugar and almond, this almond paste scrub has bits of almonds that helps to rub off dead skin cells in the most gentle way possible. It is extremely soft to the skin, but the only bad thing is the not so appealing smell of the scrub. Aside from that, it is a definitely recommendation on my hands that is great for those with psoriasis and other skin conditions as well.

Food Goods - Strawberry
Recently, I've hopped on Beach Body Insanity and started a new diet which includes a great amount of strawberry. Being in Korea, strawberries are extremely fresh and a lot sweeter than those in America. Although it is a lot more expensive than those back in America, the taste definitely overrides the price. In addition to the great test, the variety of beauty uses for strawberries support why strawberries are my favorite fruit!
- Smooth skin in just a few minutes! There are two ways to do this, one is to cut a strawberry in half and rub it all over your face, just the same as you would with a kiwi. Another is to mash it up and scrub in circular motions all over your face and let it sit for a few minutes. This quick strawberry scrub will leave your glowing after rubbing off those dead skin cells.
- Acne remedy with 1/2 of sliced strawberries and 1 tablespoon of sour cream. Mash, combine and apply on the face for 10 minutes. Rinse and repeat every few days.
- Reduce puffy eyes by placing a few slices of strawberry under your eyes for 10 minutes and relax in bed, just that easy. Remember to moisturize after!
- Pedicure scrub with just a handful of strawberries, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of kosher salt to give that scrub texture. Simply mix all the ingredients in a bowl, massage into the feet and rinse.
- Hair shine can be achieved with just a handful of strawberries and a tablespoon of mayonnaise. Sounds disgusting almost to put mayonnaise in your hair, but it acts as a hydrating oil just like extra virgin olive oil. Mash to combine, apply into damp hair so that it glides easily, cover with a shower cap and warm towel. Rinse after a minimum of ten minutes and you will see a healthy head of shine. Remember to wash your hair as your normally would!
- Tooth whitener like the lemon, but all you have to do is mash up some strawberry and brush away. Your new toothpaste will even taste delicious!

Beauty Pick Me Up - Tony Moly
Of the two items, I picked up the top seller of the Tony Moly's egg line. The Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm is to help clear our blackheads and impurities with their key egg and camellia ingredients. You can wear this product alone on the skin to help clean the skin or it can be used with your makeup. I suggest using after your moisturizer and primer to smooth out the surface of the skin for easy foundation application. It helps to conceal the holes on your face by providing a smooth base for makeup to be applied. A little goes a long way with this product. It is a whipped texture which does automatically conceal the holes in the face. It probably won't help those bigger marks on your face, but I am in love with the product. It helps to smooth out my face completely and makes my makeup look natural.
Next, there is the Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub which is a scrub that smells like your morning drink. Made of coffee and milk extracts, the self heating scrub is suggested to be used two to three times a week to help remove dry, flaky, dead skin cells, impurities and keratin in the face. I love the twist off design that holds the scrub inside the cup and a "spoon" that acts as a tool to scoop the scrub onto your hand. Simply rub onto the face in a circular motion and wash away with lukewarm water. I absolutely love this scrub, it is great to wake you up early in the morning and I do feel an immediate layer of smoothness.

Food Goods - Kiwi
For starters, kiwis are packed with Vitamin C which is great for your health, especially for those with weak immune systems like me. If you have liver problems (psoriasis is a result of a bad liver), kiwi should be your new best friend. Research shows that over time, kiwis can help reopen holes in the liver which will result in better health! Big plus.
Something you may not be aware of, which I wasn't until recently, is kiwi is a slimming food (thank god I had a few this week). Make sure you slice up those kiwis in your fruit salad like I did for a fruit salad here. If you're sick of the grapefruit for breakfast or grapefruit before every meal, you can switch it up with a kiwi cause it'll do the job. So what lead me to write this article? I was being a little lazy today. It was time for my weekly mask (try sticking to one mask per week because your face will get super oily in this weather if you mask twice a week), but I decided to do something different. I was staring my bag of kiwis and thought there was something else I can do with it -- other than satisfying my stomach of course. In conclusion, I decided after a nice shower and the regular routine of face washing, to rub a half of a kiwi all over my face. I didn't use the whole half since my kiwi wasn't mushy enough, but I saved the remaining quarter for another use.
The kiwi is supposed to act as an exfoliate for the face as well as a scrub with the seeds. I have to admit, it burned my psoriasis marks on my face a bit so I was only able to leave it on my face for five minutes. After washing it off, I felt that my face was a little irritated (the way it's irritated after a long hot shower). I continued with my regular routine of putting on my ointment and by the end of the night, I felt that my face was a lot smoother including the areas where my psoriasis burned.
Being that I have psoriasis and it worked so well for me, I can only imagine what it can do for those without a problem. Just remember to peel off the skin and wash your face with face wash so you are rubbing a kiwi into clean skin for better absorbency. It is definitely a perfect way to cool your body down by using a kiwi that's straight from the fridge. Aside from the irritation, it was wonderful! I will attempt to do this again in two days, hopefully it'll feel better and help me after hours of tanning!
