My Current Obsession - Skin Food Fresh Aloe Pack

Because I've been going to the beach so much, I am obsessed with this Fresh Aloe Pack that helps to minimize peeling on the face and neck area and helps to hydrate my skin. A definite recommendation for those who engage in constant outdoor summer time fun.

Aloe works for all skin types and provides great hydration and moisture. Simply apply this aloe pack to the face in circular upward motions for 30 seconds. Leave it on for approximately five minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water to reveal smooth skin. This pack is extremely gentle on the skin. There are chunks of actual aloe which helps to exfoliate and remove dead skin. I am absolutely in love with the product and recommend it for everyday use, especially in the summer when the sun can be damaging to the skin. You can skip out on the weekly facial masks by simply using this wash off pack.

Food Goods - Kiwi

For starters, kiwis are packed with Vitamin C which is great for your health, especially for those with weak immune systems like me. If you have liver problems (psoriasis is a result of a bad liver), kiwi should be your new best friend. Research shows that over time, kiwis can help reopen holes in the liver which will result in better health! Big plus.

Something you may not be aware of, which I wasn't until recently, is kiwi is a slimming food (thank god I had a few this week). Make sure you slice up those kiwis in your fruit salad like I did for a fruit salad here. If you're sick of the grapefruit for breakfast or grapefruit before every meal, you can switch it up with a kiwi cause it'll do the job.

So what lead me to write this article? I was being a little lazy today. It was time for my weekly mask (try sticking to one mask per week because your face will get super oily in this weather if you mask twice a week), but I decided to do something different. I was staring my bag of kiwis and thought there was something else I can do with it -- other than satisfying my stomach of course. In conclusion, I decided after a nice shower and the regular routine of face washing, to rub a half of a kiwi all over my face. I didn't use the whole half since my kiwi wasn't mushy enough, but I saved the remaining quarter for another use.

The kiwi is supposed to act as an exfoliate for the face as well as a scrub with the seeds. I have to admit, it burned my psoriasis marks on my face a bit so I was only able to leave it on my face for five minutes. After washing it off, I felt that my face was a little irritated (the way it's irritated after a long hot shower). I continued with my regular routine of putting on my ointment and by the end of the night, I felt that my face was a lot smoother including the areas where my psoriasis burned.

Being that I have psoriasis and it worked so well for me, I can only imagine what it can do for those without a problem. Just remember to peel off the skin and wash your face with face wash so you are rubbing a kiwi into clean skin for better absorbency. It is definitely a perfect way to cool your body down by using a kiwi that's straight from the fridge. Aside from the irritation, it was wonderful! I will attempt to do this again in two days, hopefully it'll feel better and help me after hours of tanning!
