My Current Obsession - Nature Republic's Aloe Vera

Nature Republic is the leading Aloe Vera Soothing Gel distributor in Korea. I am obsessed with the 92% aloe vera plant in this gel for such a low price! A 300 ml ounce bottle that can be used for both men and women on any part of the body as a soother and moisturizer. I definitely suggest it for those with sensitive skin and psoriasis being that it is hydrating. I actually prefer using aloe vera, the natural plant that helps all kinds of skin types rather than using chemically developed lotions.

Compared to the other aloe products that are on the market, this is the closest to all natural that you can find. It feels as if you are gliding a gel version of the aloe vera plant on your skin which is pretty amazing. The best part is the low price for the big quantity that you are receiving. The only con would probably be the fact that it is a product you have to scoop from meaning you'll have to use something else to scoop the aloe out and wash. It would be a lot better if it was from a squeeze tube, but it is a product that I would buy and have bought for family back at home.

My Current Obsession - Skin Food Fresh Aloe Pack

Because I've been going to the beach so much, I am obsessed with this Fresh Aloe Pack that helps to minimize peeling on the face and neck area and helps to hydrate my skin. A definite recommendation for those who engage in constant outdoor summer time fun.

Aloe works for all skin types and provides great hydration and moisture. Simply apply this aloe pack to the face in circular upward motions for 30 seconds. Leave it on for approximately five minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water to reveal smooth skin. This pack is extremely gentle on the skin. There are chunks of actual aloe which helps to exfoliate and remove dead skin. I am absolutely in love with the product and recommend it for everyday use, especially in the summer when the sun can be damaging to the skin. You can skip out on the weekly facial masks by simply using this wash off pack.

DIY - Makeup Remover

Let's admit it, make up removers can be pricey either that or not natural. Let's take it back to household items that can do the job. Many households have converted to using Extra Virgin Olive Oil for a healthier diet. EVOO, as Rachel Ray would say, is the perfect makeup remover. Don't worry about it clogging your pores because of it's thick texture. EVOO is soft to the skin and definitely handy for makeup removing purposes.

For those who are conscious of their diet and love yogurt, plain yogurt can be found laying around a fridge. Dab with a cotton pad and wipe away, simple as that.

The most commonly used item Vaseline or simply petroleum jelly is practically in every household, being that it has a variety of functions for all ages. I have to admit, rubbing Vaseline all over your eyes leaving a sticky texture is not so great. With the summer season calling for tanning which can lead to sun burns, you probably have stashed a bottle of Aloe Vera in the bathroom cabinet. For those of you who dislike the feeling of 100% Vaseline, mix in Aloe Vera at a ration of one to one and wipe away!

In correlation to babies' smooth skin, many still use baby oil. Just like EVOO, baby oil works the same way so take your pick (or whatever is left in the house).

For those of you who have babies or are accustomed to the use of baby wipes, baby wipes serve another function since you can use it as a makeup remover as well. It also saves the trouble of having to find a cotton pad, just be sure that the baby wipes you use are unscented to prevent any reactions or breakouts.

Definitely stay posted for my next blog on EVOO's extra beauty benefits.
