Korean Traditional Eat - Raw Fish Bibimbap 회덥밥

With all these different takes on the traditional Korean eat of bibimbap, which includes vegetable, beef, squid, and even raw beef, there is one for raw fish as well. This raw fish bibimbap (회덥밥) is another take on this traditional dish by infusing sashimi fish with rice and a blend of vegetables. Raw fish is definitely on the top of the list for Korean food choices of huey so having a raw fish bibimbap is expected.

This dish is extremely delicious, pricing and vegetables that are mixed in varies from restaurant to restaurant. There are some places the allows for you to mix in your own choice of vegetables by serving it on a platter whereas other restaurants have this dish served ready to eat. The concept is still the same where you served a bibimbap (rice with a mix of vegetables), red pepper sauce (고추장 gochujang), and fresh sashimi. Simply mix and enjoy!

One restaurant chain across Korea where you can find this traditional eat is Misoya. For those looking more of an authentic meal, be sure to go to a restaurant that specializes in fresh fish sashimi.
