If you live in Brooklyn, specifically in the Bensonhurst area, there is one salon that is my go to salon for the low price. For only $13, you can get both a manicure and pedicure. This is definitely a big one on my books because of the economy. Pampering is pricey, but LJ's Nails helps me watch my wallet so I'm definitely a big plus on this.
I have to admit, I'm not a fan of their constant new crew of workers. It shows that they're not able to retain their workers and a lot of them are really just newbs. Their English isn't the best thing either, so you may not get your point across unless you speak Mandarin. No, Cantonese will not work that well.
At the end of the day, I do recommend this place for their cheap prices. There's always an influx of people on the weekend so there are better deals on the weekdays like a discounted price for UV gel. Pricing for the manicure and pedicure special is daily so you don't have to worry about that.
