Restaurant Review - HK Tea and Sushi

I've been in the Bensonhurst area way too much lately and one of the places I constantly go to is HK Tea and Sushi. Well first of, this place was the shizzzz. I have to admit, the food wasn't as great and as big portioned as it was before they had a fire incident a year back. There's still a great controversy of whether or not they changed the owner, changed the chef, but at the end of the day, I still go eat here a lot.

This place is definitely still packed every weekend, especially at nights. There's pretty much always a wait because the food is pretty good. The only problem is this is a Chinese-style restaurant meaning there is no reservations, first come first serve and yes, you have to wait. It's probably better than having to wait until the whole party gets there like many other restaurants, but I definitely recommend going for a lunch or something. When it gets busy, don't expect good service unless you're cool with the waiters. I know a lot of people who have complained about the service but I mean they really can't help it when they only have two hands.
Pricing is very affordable here. The food will fill you up and if you compare it to other Chinese restaurants, it's pretty much the same price, just a little expensive for appetizers. If you compare it American, it is cheap as hell. Fifteen dollars at most for a meal which includes a specialty drink, an entree, tip and tax and you may even be able to throw in an appetizer for that price. We spent a total of $80 tonight for a group of five and we were pretty much stuffed to the max capacity with a doggy bag :]
